Photo checks are more expensive when adding more than one image
I have reviewed a number of online personal check sites, and CarouselChecks.com is a great example of a well designed and easy to navigate the site. They have 3500+ check products with value-priced checks starting at $2.39!
When buying checks online you do need to provide your bank routing number and account number. Therefore security and information confidentiality is paramount.

Customer service is a very important thing that I check for when reviewing websites.
For a site that sells personal checks it is important to be able to find a contact page with telephone number and to also have a very helpful “Frequently Asked Questions” page. CC has all of the above and the FAQ page is quite informative.
However, when I reviewed each personal check site, I sent a question to test their customer service. The question was a simple shipping cost question and was sent on a weekday afternoon.
Most sites responded within an hour, CC sent a reply and it took 8 days. To me that long delay is unacceptable.
Despite that, I am happy with the other aspects of the CC website. I also tested the check-out process and it is very streamlined and helpful. Adding customization and your bank details are very easy and very user-friendly.
Printing of the checks usually takes 2-5 business days though for an extra $5 you can upgrade and rush your order. Order rush will usually take 2 business days off the processing of your checks.
Handling fees for your order can be expensive. There is a charge of $2 to $3 per box of checks for handling depending on the size of the checks (singles or duplicates)
The shipping cost for a standard order is $8.99, though this is reduced for smaller orders. Ground, 2nd-Day, and Next Day Air shipping options are also available for an extra cost.
Overall I am happy with CarouselChecks.com and think they have a great selection of checks.
